lyfe jennings | must be nice
for those of you who don’t know, lyfe actually spent 10 years in prison for arson. his music has a rare honesty to it that makes you stop and think about the world around us and what his words mean in relation to your own life. his song “hypothetically,” discusses the complexities behind what a couple chooses to, or not to, share with one another and ponders the question, “are some things better left unsaid?” and if so, what things fall into that category based on how they would hurt the other person in particular? check him out if you love r&b, especially the good old stuff. these are old songs but i feel like he’s a bit underrated. his voice, musical style, and song material are worth a good listen.
